Class Samples

Once More (by request) Christmas Cards      Sat., 11/12/11   1:30 to 3:30    $15.00    Barbara Riley

I have to agree, this is the fun way to make your Christmas cards – three at a time while talking and laughing!  Come join us!!  These three cards are made with Great Impressions stamps. 
Please bring foam tape or dimensionals, your favorite scissors, colored pencils or markers, a glue pen, clear glitter gel pen – and your basic Stamping Tool Kit.

*Stamping Tool Kit: Bringing your tool kit helps make the class move faster as you are not waiting to use basic supplies.  Your paper trimmer allows you to modify a card if you need to adjust something. Also a class can be more enjoyable when you are using supplies and tools that you are comfortable with.

*Don't forget something to drink. Must be in a bottle or cup with a lid.

Your basic Stamping Tool Kit needs to include:

--a variety of adhesives including double stick tape, Powerbond, or Tombow adhesive. 
--double stick foam tape
--personal paper trimmer (fiskars or cutterpede)
--bone folder
--favorite pair of scissors
--glasses for up close work (for those of you that keep forgetting to bring them)!
OPTIONAL (but sometimes handy to have): small cutting mat, a metal edge ruler, exacto knife, reversible tweezers, 1/16" hole punch, notebook to jot down ideas or information from the class.

 

Great Impressions Class 1:  Sew What!  $15 Saturday, July 16th at 1:30-3:30pm with Sarah

Come join us for some cute cards with a Sewing/Quilting theme.  These cards are inspired by the July Great Impressions board (check the board out, if you haven’t already.  It’s super cute this month!)

You will need to bring your markers (Tombow markers are recommended) and your stamping tool kit.  Colors to coordinate with the papers used are:  942 (tan);  126 (light olive);  491 (glacier blue);  703 (pink rose); 673 (orchid); 800 (baby pink);  312 (holly green);  373 (sea blue);  991 (light ochre); N60 (cool gray6);  N75 (cool gray3);  020 (peach)

 

 

   

Great Impressions Class 2:  Sew Much More!  $15 Saturday, July 23rd at 10-12pm with Sarah 

Even more cards inspired by the July Great Impressions board!  In this class you will also learn to make a faux quilted card, cute and easy.  I love this one in particular because you can use up all those scraps that we can’t bear to throw out!  You will need to bring your markers (Tombow are recommended) and your stamping tool kit.  You will be using almost all the same colors as listed in the previous Great Impressions class:  192 (asparagus);  942 (tan);  126 (light olive);  491 (glacier blue);  703 (pink rose);  800 (baby pink);  312 (holly green);  373 (sea blue);  991 (light ochre); 020 (peach)
