Garage Sale Info/Guidelines:
This is a great time to clear out all
those loved, but seldom used stamps and supplies to make way for the new!
If you have some stamps and scrapbooking/paper-crafting items that you like
to sell for STORE CREDIT then call and get a number assigned to
you. Label all your stamps and supplies with a label that includes
your assigned number and the price you want for the item. (If
you have participated in the garage sales before, do NOT use your old
number. A new one needs to be assigned to you. Please call the
store 416-0805 for a new number.)
We will keep track of everything that is sold in
the store computer. All unsold items will be returned to you. At
the end of the garage sale we will tally up the sales and give you store
credit for the amount you sold. There is no time-frame in which you
need to use your credit and you don't need to use it all at once, however,
store credit can be used on store merchandise only (ie. it can't be used for
garage sale/used items, handmade cards, gift certificates or classes).
No stamp cards will be stamped when using store credit for purchases.
Guidelines for labelling: If you are
participating PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE be sure that you labels are well
adhered to the item you're selling. We can't sell the item if
there's no label on it. Please use Masking Tape if possible as it
seems to work best. In our experience, the round garage sale type
stickers and even return address labels (especially old ones) are
the ones that seem to easily fall off. If you are using these then
they should be taped down with scotch (clear) tape. Please do not write
directly on the stamp itself. Not only does this detract from the
value of the stamp but if it doesn't sell, then you have a stamp
with an old garage sale # on it.
What to sell: Rubberstamps/clear stamps/unmounted
stamps. Stampin' Up! stamps and sets are also welcome here. In
fact, we'll have an entire table devoted to just SU sets! In addition
to rubberstamps, you can sell photo albums, stamping/scrapbooking related
magazines/books, ink pads (be sure they are taped shut), embossing powders,
punches, decorative scissors, Sizzix dies, etc. Embellishments and
stickers are ok but be sure they are well packaged or in some sort of (ziplock)
bag. Background paper(12x12s) and cardstock is ok if they are
still in the pad or if you can package it up (ziplock or plastic bag).
Individual sheets will get mangled and therefore WILL NOT be
accepted. Also be sure that your punches/dies and scissors are in good
working order. Be sure ink pads and markers are still moist and
usable.
You can start bringing your labelled items in
starting Monday March 29th thru Wednesday April 7th. Sorry,
no items will be accepted after this as I need time to set up.
After the garage sale is over, the left over items will be packaged up for
you to pick up starting Monday, April 12th. Please pick up your unsold
items by Saturday, April 17th as we need the space. If you
are from out of town please call the store if other arrangements need to be
made. Thank you.
No stamp cards will be stamped for garage sale item purchases. Store
credit can not be used for the purchase of any garage sale/used items. No
returns will be accepted on garage sale items.
As a final note, we will keep an eye on your
merchandise as if it were our own but we can't be held responsible for
damaged or stolen items. Thank you for your understanding in this
matter.
If you have any other questions, please call the
store:(260)-416-0805.
